Rieter Holding AG, Winterthur (Switzerland) acquires Saurer Technologies Engineered Bearing Solutions. Change of name to Rieter Components Germany GmbH and return to the tried and tested Temco brand.

Change of name to Saurer Technologies GmbH & Co. KG Engineered Bearing Solutions.

Jinsheng Group acquires Oerlikon's natural fibers and components business.
2007
Textile company OC Oerlikon acquires textile machinery company Saurer AG. Temco components becomes Oerlikon Textile Components.
2006
Successful relaunch as Temco Components GmbH As part of the Saurer Group. Consolidation of the product portfolio.
1994
Spin-off of FAG and sale to the investment fund ECP. Foundation of Temco Textilmaschinen-Komponenten GmbH.
1957
FAG Kugelfischer takes over the Meister company in Hammelburg as a production site and begins manufacturing components for textile applications.
1883
Friedrich Fischer designs the first ball grinding machine. The year is later declared the founding year of FAG.
